Playing with Purpose is designed to help parents/caregivers gain a better understanding of the importance of play and learn how to be active participants in this important work. Play stations are set up to allow for one on one time as well as work on fine and gross motor skills and socialization. During each session parents and/or caregivers are given relevant materials and articles on how to continue to support and build on these concepts at home. Parents/caregivers are then encouraged to use the items shared to “Play with Purpose” with their children.

Playing with Purpose will return later this year!

Ages 0-5

Our Read-to-a-Dog program is an excellent way for children to gain confidence in their reading skills by reading out loud in a relaxed atmosphere to Remy, a certified therapy dog. Remy is the perfect reading buddy for children who are working on their reading skills, or who are a little timid around dogs.

To sign up to Read to Remy, please talk to Ms. Teresa in person, via email (teemirra@sailsinc.org), a Facebook message, or call 508-947-9028. Space is limited.
