How You Can Help...

 

         The Friends of the Lakeville Public Library is a non-profit organization designed to create awareness of library services and to raise funds to sponsor library programs and activities or purchase special items not covered in the regular budget.

In the past year, the Friends have sponsored and/ or funded:

bullet

children’s summer reading program

bullet

cultural programs that educated and delighted participants of all ages

bullet

museum passes that enabled families and individuals to visit area museums at little or no cost

bullet

movie licensing that allows for public performance rights

bullet

shades for the windows throughout the building to help with utility costs

bullet

purchase of a digital camera to be used by the library to record programs

bullet

help with materials budget in times of budget constraints

These activities and items are funded by Dues and Fundraising events. 100% of all money raised is returned to the library!

Friends--dedicated individuals who are committed to fulfilling the library’s role as a vital community resource.

If you are able to support us with your time, come to the meetings on the first Monday of each month at 7 pm at the library.
